CUSTOM DECOR ART by CRAIG COOLEY

With many years of experience in the interior design industry, I realize that frequently large expansive walls become a huge challenge when it comes to decor. Much of the art available is typically of a smaller scale and your choices are few. Unfortunately it often requires several pieces of art and/or accessories to appropriately fill a large space, when in reality the space speaks loudly for one larger piece of cohesive art.

 

Problem solved with "Commissioned Art" that is both interesting and complementing; art that brings the entire area together with appropriate color blending and visual images. This is a simple and affordable solution for every application, from classic forms and colors, to contemporary shapes, images and hues.

 

The medium is simple and a functional form, I use light weight hollow core doors as the canvas, placed in landscape position. Typically 80" wide by 36" tall with other sizes available. I use acrylic paint and a high gloss finish acrylic sealer. All paint is UV color safe and designed to last for years.

 

This simple solution to the challenge becomes the focal point and the continuity of the decor project brilliantly brought together.
